  8. Granda, you were a man full of kindness, wisdom and warmth. From the stories you told us to the lessons you taught, you always made Shawna and I feel so loved as your grandchildren. Your laughter could light up the darkest of rooms, and you made every ordinary moment special. I miss taking you on your weekly grocery shops and you letting us pick out a chocolate bar, i miss sitting in your lounge room with you every Sunday just to talk and catch up on the week, and i miss measuring our heights on the shed door. I miss everything. You made Sundays my favourite day of the week, because that was when i would always come down to visit, and if i couldn’t make it on a Sunday i would be sure to make it another day that week or call to check in on you. You lit up my life like nothing else and i am so grateful that i got to spend so much time with you. I’ve known nothing but how to live with you around me, so living without you is a change that is so hard to adjust to, but i know you’re still with me in my heart (with that tea towel over your shoulder). I love you waggie.
