Hello Bill,
It feels like yesterday that we have just celebrated your 100th birthday, and here we are, you have left us. Leaving us means you have given us a beautiful memory of being a part of your life, and the opportunity to be able to look after you.
I would surely miss my “Good morning Bill” while you seat in the lounge room after breakfast. Just wanting to enjoy the scenery by the front window.
I am happy that you have found your peace.
To your family, our sincere condolences. Bill will now be looking down for you. It’s his turn to look after you.
May you rest in peace. Good morning Bill!
What’s cooking ?
One of my favourite sayings you would say to me, when you wanted to know what activities were on for the day. I also loved it when you asked me to walk you home after Happy Hour every Thursday afternoon, it was like our special date time.
You will be dearly missed in the Singing Group every Thursday morning. We had fun making videos, dressing up and trying to sing. It won’t be the same without you.
Fly high my friend, you were one of my favourite residents and I will miss you .
My deepest condolences to your lovely family.

A few things that meant a lot to me about Bill.
When I was about 4 years old, Bill got engaged to my sister Beryl.
He bought me, what he called, an engagement ring. A gold signet ring engraved with my initials LMD.
Later I was to be the flower girl at their wedding.
Much later Bill took me to a dance as he was on the committee.
When Jim wanted to take me home, I told him he would need to ask Bill first, which he did.
When Jim and I got engaged, Jim not only had to ask my Dad, he also had to asked Bill, as I was still engaged to him!

My heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your Dad.

Uncle Bill you will be truly missed, you were a remarkable man, a total gentleman, you lived a great life and had many a story to tell. I loved my holidays with you and Auntie Beryl when I was young, laying on the back seat of the car in the early morning still sleeping while Auntie Beryl dropped you at work. Our visit with you in Queensland when Katie was a baby was also a highlight for me. My lunch times at your house in Narre Warren I still remember, my coffee was always ready for me. When I helped you into the car at the footy just a few weeks ago, I told you that I love you mega millions and your face lit up, I will remember this always.
My memories of you will last a lifetime as will my love for you.
Neil, Michelle and family, Deb and Rob my sincere sympathy is with you all.
