Beloved wife of Peter (dec).

A Funeral service for Mrs Yvonne Cecil (Tiny) Flynn
will be held at David W Bull Pakenham Funeral Home
190 Princes Highway Pakenham on
Friday 17th August 2018 commencing at 11:00 a.m.
A private cremation will follow.
Please feel free to bring a flower from your
home garden to place on Tiny’s coffin.
I have fond recollections of Aunty Tiny throughout my childhood. When Tiny was working for P&O she sent us countless postcards from around the world. I recall the first pictures I ever saw of Buddha and of Japanese cherry blossoms were in these postcards and I’m sure they helped to inspire my love of travel. Aunty Tiny never missed a birthday or a Christmas throughout our childhoods. There was a present from her, and when you consider the number of nephews and nieces that was quite a feat. I know she remained supportive of Mum and Dad (Lorna and John) throughout the years.
I remember Tiny as very kind and considerate, she was always interested in what was happening in our lives. I will always remember her with fondness and admiration.
So sad that she lost the opportunity to be present in the last years of her life. And I am very grateful for Frances and her family for being there for her when the rest of us were so far away.
Aunty Tiny was such a beautiful and caring person who loved Peter and her extended family dearly. She was loved and respected by everyone. She will be remembered and loved forever. Rest In Peace Aunty Tiny.
Yvonne was known as “Tiny’ from an early age. Those who knew the family might consider A bit unfair since all the family except her father were ‘vertically challenged’. However it gave her a unique name which wS really the only name we knew her by.
Tiny was a fabulous aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. She was the source of a wide variety of special gifts every birthday and Christmas. As a ship’ purser she sailed to many exotic countries and was the generous source of many an exotic and very special gift.
She has a very warm place in my heart for the support she provided to our family when her brother John, my father passed. Tiny, Ken and Frances all provided a very welcome support and affirmation of family at a to

Whilst we have not seen Tiny in her last years, she has retained a strong place in our hearts.
