Condolences / Guest Book

  1. Dear Ivana and Emil — your father is the last of that generation, that I know, who survived the war and went on to work tirelessly to provide for his family in a new country that, over time, became truly his own. I will always treasure the days I was fortunate to spend with him, listening to his stories about his accomplishments as an engineer at Siemens. God bless and may he rest in peace with your Mum.

  2. Zvonko was an amazing man, a close friend to my father, our families were always close. I always admired his quest to engineer things to work more efficiently, something he shared with my father. Ivana, you have done an amazing job caring for him these last years and I’m sure you and the rest of your family will miss him greatly. It truely is an end of an era for both our families, he is once again together with Mira and his medical problems are now behind him. RIP Zvonko

  3. Dear Ivana,
I would like to express my deepest condolences to you and the entire family on your loss.
I got to know and appreciate Zvonko in the early 1970s at Siemens in Melbourne. He was a very loving colleague and friend.
I would like to take the liberty of sending you a link to a video I made recently on the occasion of Le Oechsle.
It features a scene from 2016, an event that Zvonko also attended.

  4. My most heart ❤️ felt Condolences to the family. In fond memory of his infectious enthusiasm for all things engineered and a trail blazer for “Made in Australia” creating jobs and market leadership in many fields for Siemens. His design of the MCC which I had the pleasure of launching the sales in Australia was so well regarded it gave us market leadership in a very short space of time. It was his locally manufactured floodlight that lit up every Trotting Track from Perth to Cairns and iconic sporting facilities like the Sydney Cricket Ground. These floodlights launched night AFL football and Cricket at what was Waverley Park in Melbourne. I’m sure there are many more quiet achievements in addition to the public ones. His infectious enthusiasm will be remembered

  6. Dear Ivana, Emil and family,
Our deepest sympathy and condolences for your loss.
Your father was unique and possessed an impressively innovative mind that could create clever but practicable solutions to knotty technical problems. He would always persevere until he found the solution. It was not in his nature to give up.
But most of all he was generous, kind and nice to his colleagues and workers and they will remember him fondly always.
    We miss him already.

  7. Dear Ivanka and Emil, I was saddened to hear about your fathers passing, it was like grieving my own fathers passing all over again. It was wonderful to spend time with your father at our fathers funeral, I got to know him so much better and hear about his very interesting life. I will always remember him fondly and your mother and sister as well. I hope we stay in touch and would love to reconnect some day soon. Our Patriarchs lived a very difficult life, bravely starting anew in another country and making a comfortable life for their families in Australia. We were blessed to have them and now their memory. Forever in my heart and mind.

In aufrichtiger Anteilnahme Eure Hermann uns Christina Roth.
PS: Liebe Ivana, Deine Bilder sind jeden Tag präsent in unserem Wohnzimmer. Wir genießen sie.
