Jim Yandle
Passed away peacefully
with Lyn by his side on
Friday 5th September 2025.
Aged 81 years.
Dearly loved husband of Lyn.
Loved and admired father of Paul.
Loved and respected stepfather of
Steven, Trevor, Kellie, Erynne and Brendon.
Fond father-in-law of Jody, Chris, Nellie and Lilian.
Adored Pa of Acacia, Ethan, Chelsea,
Ellie, Jack, Lindsay and Lanah.
Favourite Dad to his special dog, Gypsy.
Always so loving, thoughtful
and kind, a better father and
husband would be hard to find.
A Funeral Service for
Jim Yandle will be held at
David W Bull Pakenham Funeral Home,
190 Princes Highway, Pakenham on
Friday 19th September 2025
commencing at 10:30 a.m.
A private cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers,

Condolences to Paul and the family. Sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. He made me very welcome at work and the community in Emerald. His work ethic was unmatched and he was a great Station Officer to work for.

Dear Lyn and family, I am deeply sorry not to be able to be with you all to farewell Jim . He was and is still in my thoughts , as are you all.
Early in my career I worked under Jims guidance at Emerald Branch and have not only always admired practical application to the job , but also his management skills and acumen .
I will remember Jim with admiration and fondness.

I first met Jim in the old days of V.C.A.S. in LaTrobe st. Jim was the last bloke that I worked with the day that I retired.
He will always be remembered, and our condolences go to Lyn and the family for their loss.
Sad to hear of Jim’s passing. Worked with Jim at Nunawading Branch and also caught up with him and Lyn
